LANGHE
The origin of this name is ancient and means Liguri lands or strip lands. There are many hills with high peaks, crests and valleys crossed by streams. Visits to the Tanaro river , the Bormida valley and the Ligure Apennines are recommended. The Langhe districts are famous for their wines, hazel-nut cakes and truffles. We can name a few places: the Barbaresco Langa, the Barolo Langa, the Asti Langa, the Hazel-nut Langa and the Dogliani Langa.
